Why choose us

No job is too big or too small

We started out doing small in-state projects and have since completed work in 17 states — start to finish, with our own people and equipment.

Whether you are a small business repairing a damaged cable on your property or a large firm laying hundreds of miles of telephone, fiber optic or power cabling, you get the same workmanship and the same professionalism.

  • Crews that stay

Long-tenured operators, splicers and linemen — not a rotating roster of subcontractors. A 24-technician field team with 50+ years of combined experience.

  • Schedules we hold

Project-management background on every job means realistic sequencing, weekly reporting and completions that land on the date we committed to.

  • Documented quality

Fusion splicing with bi-directional OTDR testing and as-built records, so your operations team inherits a network they can actually maintain.

  • Licensed & insured

General Contractors License for public utilities communication work, with the equipment fleet to self-perform bore, excavation and aerial scopes.

Safety & qualifications

Safety and qualifications

Work zones are planned and staffed by credentialed people, and the traffic control that protects them is ours — not a subcontractor's schedule.

  • Field supervisors OSHA 30 trained

Every field supervisor has completed OSHA 30 training, so hazard recognition and daily job briefings come from the person running the crew.

  • All crew leads hold Intermediate traffic-control credentials

Crew leads carry Intermediate traffic-control cards, so lane closures and work-zone setups are led by credentialed personnel.

  • In-house traffic control

We maintain our own traffic-control capability instead of waiting on a third party, which keeps work zones compliant and schedules intact.

  • VDOT approved

Expert Telecom is approved by the Virginia Department of Transportation for work within its rights-of-way.

How we work

From walk-out to as-builts

A predictable process is why our projects finish on time — and why our clients keep sending us the next phase.

  1. 01

    Scope & walk-out

We review your route, prints and permits, then walk the job to flag conflicts before they become change orders.

  2. 02

    Design & consulting

Our project-management team supports design, make-ready and constructability review so the plan matches field reality.

  3. 03

    Construction

Boring, plowing, excavation, hydrovac daylighting and aerial placement — self-performed with our own fleet and crews.

  4. 04

    Splice, test & turn over

Fusion splicing, bi-directional certification, restoration and as-built documentation before we demobilize.
